A spam article has just been created and deleted, and I have been thinking maybe we should require a login to create new pages.--Xanthipos (talk) 13:26, 19 February 2019 (UTC)
- Hey, I've been the one who deleted the spam article using GRASP mandate. The deleted page was a part of spam wave on Gamepedia we are currently dealing with internally. While locking the wiki out of the IP edits is possible, Gamepedia staff (which I'm not part of) and I greatly discourage from taking such a step. Spam and vandalism happens from time to time however it is usually easy to deal with. The IP contributions are often very helpful and allowing users without an account to edit the wiki is probably a better idea, especially in smaller communities.
